Veins around my belly button

I am Ron, 51 years old, married, but I also have sex with guys (I am active). Male sex always excited me but started only 3 years ago. At about that time I noticed veins on my belly around my belly button. They have gotten worse with time. I am worried that this may be a desease I got from gay guys.

I am sorry I do not have a photograph. The veins start around the belly button and go up to my chest.

I never had a liver desease. Yes I drink a lot, for many years.

Hi Ron,

This condition is caused by an obstruction in the liver or the great vain inferior vena cava.

In your case it appears that you have an obstruction in the vein entering your heart from below.

YOu should see a doctor immediately.
